Frequently Asked Questions

What time will the car park open?

We open 2.5 hours before all matches/events and close 1 hour after the end of the event. We will sometimes open earlier for concert events on weekends. Please check websites for exact opening times. PLEASE DON’T ARRIVE BEFORE OUR ADVERTISED OPENING TIMES AS YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GAIN ENTRY.

Can I enter the car park early?

No. The car parks are not accessible before the advertised opening times. Please do not arrive early as you will be unable to park and may cause traffic issues.

What time will the car park close?

The car parks will be closed and locked 1 hour after the end of the event. For matchday parking this is 11pm. For concert parking this is 11.30pm. Vehicles not collected in time will be locked in and incur a £200 penalty. Release may not be possible until the following day.

What if the match goes to extra time & penalties?

The car park will remain open and close 30 minutes later than originally scheduled.

Do you allow overnight parking?

NO OVERNIGHT PARKING is permitted. Vehicles left after closing times will be locked in and access will be denied.

How much does parking cost?

Prices vary by event and location. Booking early ensures the best price as prices may rise with demand.

What is your cancellation policy?

All bookings are strictly non-refundable.

Can I pay on arrival?

If availability allows, you can scan the QR code onsite to pay — subject to space remaining.

How long does it take to exit the car park?

We are not affected by road closures. All vehicles exit promptly after the event.

What happens if I don’t get back before the gates close?

Gates will be locked. You will not be able to retrieve your car and will incur a £200 fixed penalty.

If I leave the car park, can I come back in?

No. Re-entry is not permitted once you leave the car park.

I’m bringing a different car.

Click “My Booking” at the top of the site to change your registration. You’ll receive a new confirmation email.

Can I change the vehicle on my booking?

Yes — use “My Booking” at the top of our website. A new confirmation will be sent after changes.

Do I need to prebook?

Yes — we recommend booking in advance at matchdayparking.com or concertparking.co.uk to guarantee a space.

Do you have any discount codes for booking?

We occasionally offer promotions. Check our website before booking.

How will I know if I have booked successfully?

You’ll receive a confirmation email with ticket and map. Print it or show it on your phone for access. Stewards do not have a list of customers.

I have booked the wrong date/event.

Click “My Booking” on our site to change your event. A new email will be sent after the update.

I have booked the wrong car park.

Reply to your confirmation email and tell us which car park you intended to book. Changes must be made at least 48 hours before the event.

I have not received my email confirmation. What should I do?

Check your junk folder. Go to “My Booking” and enter your order number and reg. You’ll see the email used and can resend it. Or email bookings@matchdayparking.com or bookings@concertparking.co.uk with your reference (found on your bank statement).

Do you have food/drink onsite?

No. However, there are local shops and takeaways on the way to the venue.

Do you offer motorbike parking?

No. We do not offer motorbike parking at any of our sites.

Is your car park secure?

Yes. All sites are staffed during events and have security cameras.

I can’t see the event I want to book.

Email bookings@matchdayparking.com or bookings@concertparking.co.uk with the details and we’ll assist.

Can I book more than one space?

Yes. You can book multiple spaces for multiple events. Each booking will receive its own confirmation.

The gates are locked.

You may be too early or too late. Instructions will be posted onsite. If you miss the closing time, a £200 PCN applies and access will not be granted until later.
